The most turquoise-looking band I carry, and the stone is not the reason.
The leather itself is finished in turquoise over brown and tooled in a heavy floral, so the color sits up in the raised areas and the brown shows through the cuts. Then the slab goes on top of that. If you want one band that announces itself from across a room, this is the one.
Fit
Band only, no hat included. It is 1.5 inches wide and 15 inches long, with about 100 inches of vegan leather lace, so you can wrap it several times or tie it once in back. It works on felt or straw and moves between hats whenever you feel like it. Made in Texas.
It also comes as a set with a felt hat in bone, black, tan or olive. Those sets are out of stock at the moment, so what you can buy today is the band on its own.
About the stone
The slab is dyed howlite, not turquoise. Howlite takes color beautifully, which is why it turns up in western leatherwork so often, and it costs a fraction of the real thing. It is the honest way to get the look on something you plan to wear hard. Slabs run roughly three quarters of an inch to an inch and a quarter and each one is cut by hand, so yours will not match the photo exactly.
