Centered Steer Skull Cotton Throw Blanket in Rust and Teal
One large longhorn steer skull, centered, with a spray of feathers behind it, set on a warm rust ground. Bands of teal and cream geometry close the top and bottom. Where the repeating skull blanket is a pattern, this one is a picture.
Because the motif is centered and single, this is the throw to hang or to drape flat over the foot of a bed rather than bunch up. It wants to be seen whole.
The details
- 100% cotton, loom woven on a Jacquard loom
- Pre washed and pre shrunk, then machine washable
- Fringed on all four edges
- Woven design, not printed, so the pattern reads on both faces
- 72 x 54 inches, the mill's large tapestry throw size
Pure Country Weavers does not publish a measurement for each individual design, so the size above is their standard large throw rather than a number confirmed for this pattern. Ask us if you need it exact.
Who makes it
Woven by Pure Country Weavers, a cotton mill in North Carolina. I picked this one rather than made it, and it ships from the mill. The rest of the throws and blankets are here, and the turquoise jewelry is my own shelf.
