Sparklean Polishing Cloth for Sterling Silver
If you own turquoise, this is the one you want.
A treated cotton polishing cloth that lifts tarnish off sterling silver with no water, no liquid and nothing that can seep into a stone or a setting. For everything Wildflower sells, this is the safe choice, and it is the one I reach for.
Why the cloth and not a spray
Important: never spray, soak or ultrasonic a porous stone. Turquoise, howlite, regalite and most soft stones drink in liquid, and that is how a good stone goes dull or works loose in its setting. Use a dry polishing cloth on anything set with a stone. Save the spray for plain chain, watches and eyeglasses.
Use it on
- Sterling silver, including stamped and oxidized work
- Anything set with turquoise, howlite, opal, coral or shell
- Squash blossoms, cuffs, bolos and concho belts
How to use
- Rub the treated inner cloth over the silver until the tarnish lifts
- Buff with the outer cloth
- Work around the stone, not over it
The cloth darkens as it works. That is the tarnish coming off, not the cloth wearing out, so do not wash it.
