A wide flat brim rancher in camel felt, banded in pale pink, pinned with a silver thunderbird and a cluster of feathers.
The band is the detail people miss in photos. There are two of them: a wide taupe ribbon with a narrower pale pink one below it, and the pink has been deliberately scorched and frayed along the edge so it looks like it has already lived a life. The feathers sit off to the left in rust, pink and a flash of dark blue, held under a silver thunderbird.
The crown is a clean teardrop pinch and the brim is wide, flat and bound at the edge, which is the shape that photographs well and shades your face properly. Camel is the most wearable felt color there is. It goes with denim, with black, with every brown boot you own.
