The Rowan is a modern rancher with a firm, lifted brim and a teardrop crown, the shape that reads western from across a parking lot without trying too hard. Merino wool felt holds it stiff and true, and the adjustable inner band lets you dial the fit yourself.

The stiff brim is what saves the pink from going sweet. It is a serious hat that happens to be a soft color, and that tension is the whole appeal.

Water repellent, and satin lined so it slides on without wrecking your hair.

The adjustable inner band handles the fine tuning.

• S/M and M/L both fit 54 to 57 cm, so either one works if that is your range
