Same leather as the Rogue wallet, flipped a hundred and eighty degrees.

Two things happen when you turn the shape upside down. The billfold opening gets longer, so pulling a bill out stops being a two-hand operation. And the wallet comes out of your pocket right side up, which you will notice every single day for as long as you own it.

Rogue named it Nantucket because open flat it looks like a whale's tail. I am passing that along because they clearly enjoyed it.

The leather

Horween of Chicago, tanning hides since 1908, and the hide is American bison. Tough, thick-grained, and it darkens where your hands go.

Who makes it

Rogue Industries, in Standish, Maine. Michael Lyons started it in 2007 because he was tired of sitting on a fat back-pocket wallet, taught himself leatherwork, and came out of it holding two patents on a front pocket shape. The workshop runs on solar.

I did not make this and I am not going to imply I did. What I can tell you is it is made in the United States by a shop that puts its own name on it and backs it for two years, which is the same standard I hold the turquoise to.
