Sixteen by eighteen inches of full-grain leather, which is big enough for a laptop and everything you pile on top of it. Bronze lobster clasp inside so your keys stop living at the bottom.

Full-grain means the hide was not sanded down to hide its flaws. So every one of these has slight color variation, and every one of them will darken where your hands go. That is not a defect, that is the entire reason to buy leather instead of coated whatever.

Who makes it

Rogue Industries, in Standish, Maine, out of a workshop that runs on solar. Michael Lyons started the company in 2007 and it has been making leather goods in the United States ever since.

I did not make this and I am not going to imply I did. What I can tell you is it is made here by a shop that puts its own name on it, which is the same standard I hold the turquoise to.
