Add Monogramming to a Rogue Wallet or Passport Holder

Three initials, pressed into the leather to stay.

Not printed and not a sticker. Rogue sets metal dies by hand, heats them, and presses a deep deboss into the hide, so the letters are part of the piece for as long as you own it. The first photo shows the real depth of it.

How to add it to your order

1. Open the wallet or passport holder you want. There is an Add your initials box on the page, just above the Add to cart button. Type them there.
2. Add that piece to your cart.
3. Add this $10 monogramming to the same cart.

Your initials travel with the piece itself, so they arrive on the order attached to the right item. If you forget the $10 and I see a monogram request, I will email you before anything goes to the workshop rather than guess.

Three letters, and only letters

This is worth being straight about, because it is the question I get asked. Rogue's press takes up to three capital letters, in Times New Roman. Not a name, not a word, and not a date. Their die set is letters, so numbers are not on the menu at all.

If you had your heart set on an anniversary or a birth year, tell me before you order and I will ask Rogue whether they can do it. I am not going to sell you a date and then find out it was never possible.

What it goes on

The Rogue leather goods: the bison passport holder and the Front Pocket, Heritage and Nantucket wallets. Not the jewelry, not the coasters, not the luggage tag. If a piece can take a monogram, the initials box is on its page.

On the Front Pocket and Heritage wallets the deboss sits in the lower right corner, and on the Nantucket wallets it sits in the upper right. Rogue does not publish a position for the passport holder, so I am not going to invent one. If you want it somewhere specific, say so in the same box after your initials.

• Monogrammed pieces cannot be returned, which is the one real trade-off. The usual 30 day return does not apply once your initials are in the leather.

One honest note: the maker says a few hides will not take a clean deboss and does not publish which. If that turns out to be true of the one you picked, I will tell you before it is made rather than send you something I would not want myself.
